To ensure the site operates smoothly and all of our lodge owners have a peaceful and relaxing stay, we ask that everyone abides by our site rules at all times.
The Security Barrier can be accessed using your gate card. This should not be used to let any other vehicles onto the site other than your main car.
Only one car per lodge is allowed on site. Extra cars must be registered in reception and parked in the car park.
Commercial Vehicles and vans are not permitted on the site and should be parked in the car park for the duration of your stay.
To ensure the safety of all guests a strict speed limit of 5mph or less should be used at all times.
The maximum number of people occupying the unit overnight should not exceed the number of people the lodge is designed to sleep. All visitors are requested to report to reception. All visitors’ cars must be parked in the car park.
In order to ensure the smooth running of the park, could you please refrain from putting any insoluble items (e.g. nappy liners, toilet wipes, etc.) down the toilets as they block up the systems. No bleaches or disinfectant should be tipped in the waste water drains as it impairs the functioning of the biological sewage treatment plant. One of the products we use is ‘Ecover’ which is suitable for use.
Please be aware that there is a pond, containing deep water. There is also a beck at the north end of the park. Please be careful when walking around these areas and ensure children are supervised at all times. All children must keep out of the main farmyard area.
Children playing on the amenity area must be supervised by an adult. Children must also be careful when crossing the roads on the site. No children should be on the amenity area after dusk.
All ball games should be played on the amenity area, no ball games, including swing ball, should be played in the vicinity of the lodges.
Pets are welcomed on site but must not be left unattended and must be kept on a lead at all times. A maximum of 2 dogs per lodge is permitted. No fouling on the park – accidents must be cleaned up immediately and placed in the appropriate dog waste bins.
BBQs are allowed but must be raised at least 50cm off the grass. No hot ashes to be placed in or around the rubbish bins or recycling bins. No open fires.
In order to maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, all games must be played on the amenity area. It is appreciated if noise is kept to a minimum after 10:30pm.
Brochures and information for local attractions can be found in Reception. There is also a selection of information for local restaurants and takeaways. Further information can be found on our website.
Whilst we appreciate that everyone takes pride in the appearance of their property, we ask that permission is sought from a member of staff in Reception before using a hose pipe or pressure washer at any time as these severely reduce the water pressure for other guests.
Please use our recycling bins whenever possible, ensuring that waste is placed in the correct bin as labelled. No chairs, electrical goods, bedding or carpets to be left in the bins. Please take them home with you. The area around the lodge should be kept clean and tidy to allow maintenance and mowing of the park.
All holiday lodges will require an annual gas safety test. This test checks that all your appliances, including gas connections are safe and comply with current regulations.
Hot tubs are not permitted for use on the park.
Please ask permission before putting anything in the ground such as a washing line pole. This is because there are pipes for gas, water and electric which run under the ground. We can advise on where is suitable to place anything into the ground.
Any kind of recording/listening/watching devices e.g. security camera are NOT permitted outside of your lodge. Approval must be sought from the park before installing any recording or remote listening/watching devices inside your lodge. This is to ensure your compliance with all Data Protection Laws.
