Our park is a vibrant sanctuary for wildlife, brimming with diverse species that reflect the richness and health of our natural environment. This flourishing ecosystem stands as a testament to our dedication to environmental conservation and enhancement.
Visitors to our park are delighted by the remarkable array of wildlife they encounter. Charming Coal Tits, Blue Tits, Great Tits, and Long-tailed Tits bring splashes of colour and lively songs to the landscape. The Nuthatch, with its unique foraging behaviour, adds to the auditory experience, accompanied by the rhythmic drumming of Woodpeckers. Graceful Wood Pigeons and vibrant Pheasants roam freely, while the Chaffinch, Greenfinch, and Goldfinch dazzle with their bright plumage.
The park is also home to the friendly Robin and the melodious Blackbird, while the Magpie, Rook, and Wagtail contribute to the diversity of our birdlife. Notable additions include the distinctive Red-legged Partridge and the subtle presence of the Hedge Sparrow, along with the agile House Martin and the numerous species of Gulls gracing our skies.
Our mornings are enriched by the beautiful songs of Song Thrushes and Mistle Thrushes, while the diminutive Wren flits about with energetic grace. Seasonal appearances of Swallows thrill us, and the striking sight of an Oyster Catcher captivates our attention. The majestic Marsh Harrier and the elusive Kingfisher offer glimpses of their hunting prowess, while the serene Moorhen and the powerful Buzzard patrol the park’s open spaces.
